As per TME courses (requirements), you need to take 60 credits worth of courses to receive your doctoral degree - 30 of which are taken up by mandatory courses. Which courses you take to receive the remaining 30 credits is up to you, your supervisor and your examiner to decide. For Elective courses, discuss with your supervisor and examiner before you take the course if it will be approved - e.g. during your ISP meeting.

Generally, you may choose from the following courses (from most likely to get admitted/approved to least likely):

  1. Chalmers/TME graduate courses

  2. Optional GTS courses

  3. Graduate courses at partner/network institutions

    1. University of Gothenburg
    2. Nordic Five Tech
    3. NORSI
  4. Graduate courses at other institutions
